Jerlysha Williams- Public Affairs
Ms. Jerlysha Williams hails from Jacksonville, FL. Ms. Williams grew up in a family-owned and operated beauty supply business along with 4 older brothers. Ms. Williams completed 2 years at Florida A & M University has 2 bachelor degrees in Real Estate & Finance from The Florida State University in Tallahassee, FL.
After the crash of the real estate market in 2008, Ms. Williams began seeking other career opportunities. From an early age Ms. Williams developed a love of traveling and flying which lead to her completion of the CTI program at The Florida State College at Jacksonville. Ms. Williams was hired by the FAA in August of 2011 and started at BWI in October of the same year. December 9, 2012, Ms. Williams was finally able to rest assured in a career as she had become a Certified Public Controller.
With training behind her, Ms. Williams is now able to enjoy life in the DMV. She is a member of Reid Temple AME Church, the FSU Collegiate Alumni Network flag football team as well as the Championship Tappa Tappa Kegg Flag football team. Ms. Williams also volunteers at JFK high school with students who have been targeted as less likely to graduate.
