Jackie Alonzo Beaver â€“ E.R.T
Jackie Alonzo Beaver currently serves as a Front Line Manager for the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) at Washington Center Air Route Traffic Control Center (ARTCC) in Leesburg, Virginia. Â Jackie, a native of Louisiana, attended Grambling State University (HBCU) after high school and later joined the U. S. Navy.Â He served over 10 years in the U. S. Navy as an Operations Specialist and Air Traffic Control Specialist; his duty stations included: The USS John C. Stennis / CVN-74 (Norfolk, VA.), Naval Air Station Oceana (Virginia Beach, VA), and United States Navy Presidential Ceremonial Guard (Washington, DC).
He began his Federal Aviation Administration career in 2002 as part of the Great Lakes Region and was assigned to Cleveland Center ARTCC (ZOB).Â He served as an Air Traffic Control Specialist and as a Front Line manager while assigned to ZOB.Â In late 2007 he transferred to Potomac TRACON (PCT), as an ATCS and in 2010 transferred to Washington Center ARTCC (ZDC), as a FLM.
In addition to his duties as a Front Line Manager, Alonzo serves as an Ordained Deacon at Faith Christian Center World Outreach. He is an active member in both the Federal Aviation Administration Management Association (FAAMA) and Disable American Veterans (DAV).
He is married to Tomeeka T. Beaver, who is currently assigned to Potomac TRACON (PCT).Â Tomeeka is also a NBCFAE member and she is an author.Â He has three beautiful children Javon Alonzo, Tamia Tabu, and JaQui Alexandria.
Jackie is certain, that to truly display your true leadership aptitude, you must possess the spirit of teamwork and know that, as Ken Richards says, â€œNone of us is as smart as all of us.â€Â Leaders know that no one can be the best at everything.Â But when all of us combine our talents, we can be the best at virtually anything.Â There is no limit to what can be accomplished if it doesnâ€™t matter who gets the credit. Â Jackie looks forward to representing our region as its next ERT officer.
